About an hour north of Atlanta, in the hills of Georgia, you’ll probably find Nick Orlando in his garage workshop making something, or fixing something else. By trade he does work painting, home remodeling, and basic carpentry in the small county where he grew up. I met Nick through his pictures on Instagram while he was finishing up his teardrop trailer build and I was getting started on mine. His build seemed particularly interesting: It’s about 90 percent aluminum, assembled using SPEX screws and polyurethane construction adhesive. The sides are made from a .32-mm-thick Aluminum Composite Material laminated to a polyethylene core.
