Family Heirloom Teardrop

Jessica Miano is one of the most active and positively encouraging people on Instagram when it comes to handmade teardrop trailers. She was one of the first to follow my build and cheer me on. That’s because she knows how it feels to build-your-own. She and her husband Justin built their family trailer in March 2017 in their two-car garage in Minnesota. Due to the nature of Justin’s work he had all the tools on hand and purchased all his building materials easily from the local lumberyard for plywood and ash for the trim, and Amazon for hardware and specialty camper parts. Jessica pitched in to put a stain and finish on the build. Even their young daughter participated in shop time, making this a true family project.
