Alchemy Coffee Teardrop

A coworker of mine introduced me to this project, which was initiated by her college friend Eric Spivack, the proprietor of Alchemy Coffee, in Richmond, Virginia. Eric had the idea to launch a mobile coffee shop, and approached restaurant builder Tom Brickman to help him design a solution that would enable him to run a full-functioning food service operation on the side of a the road. That challenge led to this uniquely outfitted handmade teardrop trailer built atop a 4-foot by 8-foot steel trailer frame. In an email interview, Brickman told me: “It seemed an impossible feat which excited me.”
